CPU Scheduling
Pada ulasan kedua ini, Saya ingin membahas topik dari week08 yaitu CPU scheduling. Saya mengambil referensi dari channel yang berjudul "First Come First Served - CPU Scheduling Algorithm".
Pada video ini di jelaskan bahwa logika sederhana dari algoritma "First come, First Served" adalah siapa cepat, dia dapat. Pada contoh yang di berikan di video di tunjukan beberapa proses dan burst timenya serta kapan mereka datang. Dia menjelaskan bahwa meskipun proses pertama memiliki burst time lebih besar dari proses kedua, scheduler tetap akan memilih proses pertama terlebih dahulu karena memang begitu cara kerja algoritmanya. Jadi salah satu kelemahan algoritma ini memang adalah kalau ada proses yang burst timenya sedikit tapi masuk di queue belakang akan memiliki wait time yang lama.
Menurut Saya, penjelasannya cukup mudah di mengerti. Terlebih lagi contoh yang di berikan cukup simple dan sedikit sehingga tidak pusing.
